GIP – Graduate School Intern – Innovation/Business Planning:



Description

The Innovation Intern within the Pershing Innovation group will be following the medium-term strategic planning process and project functioning for a business unit.

Graduate Interns work under close supervision, providing insight, problem solving and solutions to sustain to business areas. The Intern works on team oriented projects while individually contributing to the department’s goals and projects. Interns may perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary. Assists with special projects as needed under direct supervision.

Day-to-day job functions include assisting the Sector’s leadership team to determine program priorities, conduct business research and completion of projects.

Responsibilities may also include tracking, monitoring and reporting ideas posted on the Sector’s innovation system and supporting other strategic projects across the Business.

The analyst will have the following skills: analytical thinking, creative and innovative approach to solving problems, logic, communication skills and leadership ability.

The role will require 20 hours per week on-site working closely with the Leaders within the assigned Business Unit.


Qualifications

The qualified individual should be enrolled in a graduate degree program and must have a minimum QPA 3.0
He/She will possess strong leadership, analytical, documentation and problem solving skills.
Interest and aptitude for financial services is a must.
Strong communication, project management and organizational skills is a must.
He/She should be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently and be computer proficient.
The incumbent will have an Undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a MBA or Graduate level program.
Previous experience in strategy consulting or global banking and finance a plus
