The University of Calcutta is a public state university located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India established on 24 January 1857.

It was the first institution in Asia to be established as a multidisciplinary and secular Western-style university.

B.Sc. Botany Eligibility

The minimum eligibility to apply for Bachelor of Science in Botany is 55-60% in science stream in 10+2. Physics, chemistry and biology are the main subjects which are considered while giving admissions.
