CIPET is conducting various Academic Programs to Diploma, Degree, Post Graduate, Post Diploma, PG Diploma and Doctoral.

The admission form is available at all CIPET locations in the month of May or it can also be downloaded from CIPET website.

HERE I AM GIVING THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF PLASTICS ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, CHENNAI OF VARIOUS PROGRAMS ARE:

1. DOCTORAL PROGRAM:

The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview. Selection will be based on the marks secured in the interview. And admission to PhD program is possible any time in the year for all categories of scholars.

2. POST GRADUATE PROGRAM:

This Program is conducted through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for the candidates who seeking admission in M.Tech. Courses. It is conducted by CIPET Head Office during the month of July every year. Selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in JEE and the previous academic performance and as per norms of affiliating university.

3. UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAM:

The candidates who are being selected through admission policies of following affiliating Universities :
• Chennai - Anna University, Chennai.
• Bhubaneswar - Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.
• Lucknow - Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.
• Ahmedabad - Gujarat Technological University.

4. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA, POST DIPLOMA & DIPLOMA PROGRAMS:

The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria and Passing in the JEE will be considered as per the admission norms of CIPET.
