Hey!!! Staff Selection Commission Conducts Combined Graduate Level Exam for various post to select the deserving candidates for various vacant seats.


Last dates for filling the application form of Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam 2016 were:

-Last date for receipt of application (Part I): 21st March 2016

-Last date for application (Part II): 24th March 2016


Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification:
Candidate must have done graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rule.


Application Fee:

General and OBC candidates have to pay 100/- as registration fee. SC, ST, PWD and women do not need to pay any fee.


Important Dates for SSC CGL 2016 Tier- I

Starting Date of registration procedure 13th February 2016

Last Date of registration Part I 14th March 2016 extended to 21st March 2016

Last date of application Part II extended to 24th March 2016

Examination Date (SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I) From 27th August 2016



Exam Pattern and Syllabus


-The duration of Stage I examination is 2 hours (2 hours & 40 minutes for visually handicapped candidates) and total marks are 200.

-Stage I examination contains only one paper that will be common for all categories of posts and will be schedules in one session only.

-There be a penalty of 0/25 marks for every wrong answer.

-The question paper will be in bilingual type i.e both in Hindi and English (except the section of English)
