These are the recruitment Detail at CSIR for project Assistant,/ Project Associate/ Project Fellow & Sr. Project Fellow at different levels :

Project Assistant/Project Associate for CSIR Contract R&D Projects:
1. Project Assistant I
Qualifications : You must have Three-year Full-time Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks

2.Project Assistant II
Qualifications : Candidate must have M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Environmental Science / Geology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks
Or
B.E./B.Tech. or Equivalent in Metallurgical / Chemical / Mineral Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks

3.Project Assistant III
Qualifications : IT is Same as for Project Assistant II + 2 years post qualification experience
Or
You must have M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgical / Chemical / Mineral Engineering or Materials Science with a minimum of 60% marks

4. Project Associate I
Qualifications : You must have Ph.D. in Physics (Post qualification relevant experience desirable)

5. Project Fellow
Qualifications : Candidate must have M.Sc.in Physics / Chemistry / Geology / Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 55% marks and qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR
Or
B.E./B.Tech. or Equivalent in Metallurgical / Chemical / Mineral Engineering with at least 60% marks and a valid GATE Score

6.Senior Project Fellow
Qualifications : It is Same as for Project Fellow + 2 years post-qualification research experience+ at least one research publication in SCI journals
Or
You Should have M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science with a minimum of 60% marks
