An institution may be recognized as a Research Centre of Dibrugarh University if it is
recognized as such by the Executive Council and Academic Council of Dibrugarh
University. Any institution desiring such recognition shall have to apply to the
university with the prescribed application fee. The Research Council concerned shall
cause an inspection of the institution with specific terms of reference, after which the
report of the inspection team shall be put up for consideration before the Research
Council and thereafter at the Academic Council and Executive Council.
A recognized Centre/Institute will have to submit an Annual Report and the Research
Council shall have the right to withdraw recognition for non-fulfillment of the
