The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, charged with the military's research and development, headquartered in New Delhi

Timings:

Usually 8:30 to 5:00
Five days week

Some labs 9 to 5:30

Many scientists work late evenings and on holidays too depending on requirements and their individual interest in solving a research problem.

Pay benefits:

Dearness Allowance

It is granted to compensate the increase in prices in the market {115.76 Points( Base year 2001=100)} to which the revised pay scale relate .

It is granted twice a year payable from 1st January and 1st July

DA is paid on Basic pay + Grade Pay + NPA (where applicable) and on Transportation allowance.
