For the post of arts teacher minimum age required is 21

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

For Trained Graduate Teacher: The candidates will have to
appear in the written examination. The examination will be of objective types and the questions asked in the examination will have 85% based on the prescribed syllabus.

For Lecturer: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written test/Interview.

Division of marks in the selection procedure will be as follows:
(i) Written examination: 85%
(ii) Special Qualification: 5%
(iii) Ph.D or D.Phil : 2 %
(iv) M.Ed : 2 %
(v) B.Ed: 1 %
(vi) Represented the State in any sports tournament: 1%
(vii) Interivew: 10%
