Yes, you are eligible to become Commercial Pilot in India after completion of B.Tech course if you fulfills following conditions To become a commercial pilot in India, you need to possess a Student Pilot License (SPL). To get the SPL, you must have passed 10+2 with science and your minimum age should be 16 years Apart from this, you should register at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. After getting Student Pilot License (SPL), you need to acquire Private Pilot License (PPL). You need to appear and score well in exam to get PPL. The prescribed age for appearing for this exam is 17 years and minimum required qualification is 10+2 along with a medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Armed Forces Central Medical Establishment (AFCME). After getting PPL, you are eligible to get Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). To obtain a Commercial Pilots License (CPL) 250 hours of flying (including 60 hours for the PPL) is necessary. Apart from this, you need to pass Medical Fitness Test which consists of Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Technical, Planning, and communications in the form of Radio & Wireless Transmission. |
