The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will conduct AIIMS PG entrance exam for admissions to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes.


Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must have an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from a recognized institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India

Candidates must have completed the 12 months of rotating internship


Candidate belonging to general category must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while it is 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories

Examination pattern :

For MDS:

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
