The eligibility requirement and other things required for the post of Sister Grade-II (Nurse) Exam in AIIMS - All India Institute of Medical Science is as follows:

Eligibility Requirement AIIMS Sister Grade-I/Sister Grade-II (Nurse) Exam

A candidate must be
a) A Citizen of India, or
b) A Subject of Nepal, or
c) A subject of Bhutan, or
d) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized university/board

Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification for Male Nurse

Should be Registered “A” Grade Nurse and Midwife with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification for Male Nurse


Exam Pattern AIIMS Sister Grade-I/Sister Grade-II (Nurse)

The written test consists of different sections.
The exam consists of only multiple choices.
Each section has different marks.
Each section contains different weightage.


Pay Scale AIIMS Sister Grade-I/Sister Grade-II (Nurse) exam

Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-, Rs.4800/-

Selection Process:

The selection will be done through Written Test and Interview.


Written Test:

The written test / examination consist of Objective type / Multiple Choice Questions.
The Syllabus for the written examination will be based on the Syllabus / Curriculum of Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery, General knowledge, English and Basic Computer Applications.
