Eligibility:
The applicant should have B.Tech/B.E (Chemical Engineering, Leather Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology) B.Pharma M.Sc Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology).

Selection procedure:
The eligible students can seek admission either through a Joint Entrance Examination conducted by JNU on behalf of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Delhi or through GATE.

NOTE:
The candidates those get Qualifying marks in GATE is considered essential for eligibility for fellowships. Non-GATE students are eligible for the award of DBT fellowship.
