As per your concern I will let you know 2016 interest rates for India region announced by Bank Of Bahrain And Kuwait.

Resident Saving accounts
RATE OF INTEREST (P.A.)
For balance up to Rs. 10 Lakh 5.00
For balance above Rs. 10 Lakh 6.00

NRE and NRO saving account
For balance up to Rs. 10 Lakh 5.00
For balance above Rs. 10 Lakh upto Rs. 20 Lakh 5.50
For balance above Rs. 20 Lakh 6.00

IMPORTANT NOTES :
Interest on Savings Deposits is calculated on a daily product basis. ( interest applied on the end of day balance )

Interest on Savings Deposits will be credited quarterly on the last day of March, June, September and December of every calendar year.

Interest on NRO SB accounts are be subject to TDS as per Tax Regulations notified from time to time.
