BMS/BMM 2013 Entrance Test:

Admission process:
The admission to the BMM/BMS degree courses is based on Admission system which consists of an entrance exam (60%), marks obtained in the Std. XII Exam (qualifying exam – QE) (20%) and an interview (20%).

The entrance exam will be held as per the schedule to be announced in late April 2013

Type of Exam:
There will be one question paper for each course, of two hours duration. The Question paper will consist of 2 Sections made up of objective and subjective type questions.

Total time : 75 minutes
Total marks : 100
Number of sections Section name Marks
Section 1 Verbal Ability 30 marks
Section 2 Quantitative Ability 30 marks
Section 3 Reasoning Ability 40 marks

Course for BMM: General Knowledge Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, English Language Skills and Critical Analysis & Creative Thinking.

Course for BMS : General Knowledge Current Affairs, Data Interpretation and Basic Mathematics, Verbal Ability, Reasoning/Critical Thinking & Creative Thinking and Maths.

Examination Centre:
This Entrance exams will be conducted at the St. Xavier’s College, Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai 400 001

Minimum Percentage of marks:
Candidates belonging to the GC, must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their QE.
Candidates from the Minority Community must secure at least 55% in the QE.
SC/ST candidates must secure at least 50% marks in their QE.

Fees of Application for BMS/BMM 2013
The fee for the on-line application for an ST/SC candidate is Rs. 150/- and Rs. 450/- for all other candidates.

There will be an interview for short listed candidates based on aptitude of the candidate for the Course
Date will be announced after the declaration of the HSC results of the Maharashtra State Board (Mumbai).
