I am doing preparation of Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination and searching for the details about the physical test. Can you provide details about CAPF Selection Procedure and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) also provide what are the important dates to apply for exam?

Central Armed Police Forces (AC) Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) comprised of

Border Security Force (BSF)
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

CAPF Selection Procedure

Written examination
Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency, and Medical Standards Tests
Personal Interview

Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)

(a) 100 Meters race:
Males: In 16 seconds
Females: In 18 Seconds

(b) 800 Meters race
Males: In 3 minutes 45 seconds
Females: In 4 minutes 45 seconds

(c) Long Jump (3 chances):
Males: 3.5 Meters
Females: 3.0 Meters

(d) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.):
Males: 4.5 Meters

Application procedure will commence from 12th April 2017
Last date to fill applications 5th May 2017
Examination date (CAPF 2017 AC) 23rd July 2017
Result declaration September 2017
Personal interview November 2017
