Re: Career which is better in Aviation or Marine

Here I am listing some of the popular career choices in each of the sector you mentioned.

Both are radically different sector altogether and it ultimately depend on the individuals choice and his interests as both have a wide scope.

Careers in Marine:

Marine Biology

Scientists in this field learn the actions and ecology of plants and animals that live in the ocean and their roles in the marine food chain. They also learn the effects of contamination on the marine environment.

Oceanography

Geological oceanographers learn the progression of the ocean bottom and the nature of the minerals found there. Chemical oceanographers study the chemicals and chemical compounds in the oceans. Physical oceanographers study the ocean as mass in motion, from the gentle movements of ocean currents to the dramatic power of tidal waves.

Ocean Engineering

This section covers the vocation of those who design and build the instruments, equipment, vehicles and structures used in the marine surroundings. It also includes environmental engineers, who work to alleviate any harmful impacts humans have on the marine and other environments.

Social & Policy Science

Social scientists carry the human dimension into coastal and ocean policy-making and natural resource management by helping describe why people do what they do. Marine policy specialists analyze, recommend and help implement policies relating to the management and use of marine resources.

Careers in Aviation:

Commercial Airline Pilot
Commercial airline pilots are licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly commercial airplanes. They usually work with at least one other licensed pilot, depending on the aircraft and the length of the flight.

Aircraft Mechanic

Aircraft mechanics make sure that the aircraft is prepared to fly by inspecting the aircrafts engine, instruments and aircraft body and fixing issues while the plane is on the ground.

Flight Attendant

Flight attendants brief passengers on safety protocols, help carry out those protocols in an emergency and may administer first aid.

Other than these the Aviation industry offers plenty of career options and one can work as customer care executive, air ticketing professional, operation executive, aerospace engineer, aviation administrator, cargo manager etc.

Bothe these career are equally matched and it all depends on the dedication and performance of an individual how far he or she goes ahead in his choice of career.
