Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is a crime detection agency under the Government of India. To Join Criminal Investigation Department (CID) you have to pass Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission.

Required Eligibility --
You should have cleared graduation.
Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well.

Age Limit:
For General Category: 20 years to 27 year
OBC Category: 20 years to 30 years
SC/ST category:20 years to 32 years.

Selection process:
Written test
Physical TEST
Personal interview

Exam pattern:
Part I - Written Examination
General Test
General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Awareness
Numerical Ability

Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.
English Language
Language Comprehension
Communication / Writing
