CMC Vellore PG is an entrance exam that is organized in Tamil Nadu. It is a state level exam that is organized by the University of Tamilnadu.

This entrance exam is conducted for admission in Medical Post Graduate Degree / Diploma courses


The stage 2 result of the entrance exam was declared on February 11, 2016 for providing admissions to as many as 109 MD/MS and Diploma seats in 26 different streams.

The CMC Vellore PG is conducted annually by the Christian Medical College Vellore Association, the exam conducting authority.

The post graduate entrance exam for Christian Medical College, Vellore, commonly known as CMC Vellore PG is a gateway examination for providing admissions to MD/MS programmes in the Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore.

Duration:

The duration of the General and Special papers are 3 hours each (240 questions)

Exam pattern:


CMC Vellore PG will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
CMC Vellore PG is divided into two stages
CMC Vellore PG Stage 1 exam will comprise of two papers
Paper 1 will be a General Paper consisting of multiple choice questions
Paper 2 will be a Special Paper consisting of multiple choice questions in the specialty for which the candidate has applied
Candidates who will qualify the Stage 1 exam will only be eligible to appear in the Stage 2 exam
Stage 2 exam will be an assessment test of skills and knowledge
Stage 2 exam will also consist of a Medical Checkup
