The MBA program at CMU is designed to prepare graduate business students for leadership positions. CMU provides both part time as well as full MBA course.

Eligibility

The candidates must have minimum 1,050 points based on the formula: 200 times the undergraduate GPA plus a minimum GMAT score of 450.

International students are required to submit an official GMAT and Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Applicants with TOEFL scores of 213 (paper-based test:550/IBT:79) or MELAB scores of 80 or IELTS scores of 6.5 and above may be considered for regular admission.

Foreign students have to complete a written sample and oral proficiency exam during orientation week when they arrive on campus.

There are nine (9) core courses that each MBA student must complete.

MBA 610 - MANAGING INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN A GLOBAL ECONOMY

MBA 620 - MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING: A MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE

MBA 630 - MANAGING AND LEADING INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS IN ORGANIZATIONS

MBA 640 - DATA ANALYSIS FOR MANAGERS

MBA 650 - MARKETING-BASED MANAGEMENT

MBA 660 - GLOBAL BUSINESS AND SUSTAINABILITY

MBA 670 - FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND RISK MANAGEMENT

MBA 680 - GLOBAL ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT

MBA 690 - STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT: INTEGRATIVE EXPERIENCE

Features of program

Classes are available on weeknights and Saturdays.

Classes are offered in both Mount Pleasant and Midland.

Concentrations are available in a number of different business areas which allow more specialization.

Nine core courses (2 credit hours each) meet for 8 weeks.

Concentrations are available as elective courses (minimum of 8 credit hours).

A 4-credit hour integrative project completes the program.
