you will get many benefits after passing graduate aptitude test in engineering to get a better job in organizations. GATE examination is an all-India examination is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology.

On other side Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) is AP State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy etc.

GATE is more reputed than Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test for admission in M tech courses.

Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE)

GATE examination is a minimum requirement to apply for various fellowships awarded by many Government organizations.
After passing GATE exam you can apply for Junior Research Fellowship in CSIR Laboratories and CSIR sponsored projects.
Many PSUs like HAL, IOCL, PGCIL, BARC etc consider GATE score for jobs
