Doon University is a state public university located in the city of Dehradun in north Indian state of Uttarakhand. The university was established by Government of Uttarakhand through an Act of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in October 2005

Location

Doon University campus is located on Dehradun - Mothrowala Road, at a distance around eight kilometers from Dehradun city in foothills of Shivalik range and at the river bank of Rispana river.

Campus Facility includes

The university is spread in 52.35 acres. Its lush green environment makes it one of the most beautiful universities of India

There are separate hostels for girls and boys.

The hostels with single accommodation for each student are provided with modern facilities
. It has a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus.
