2023 2024 MBA - DRDO Age Limit

Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) works under Department of Defense Research and Development of Ministry of Defense. It conducts a Scientist Entry Test (SET) on all India bases for the recruitment of scientists ‘B’ posts. A huge number of candidates appear for DRDO SET test.

Eligibility for DRDO-SET

Qualification
At least, first class Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

Age
One’s age should not above 28 years.

Age relaxation: Maximum relaxation in upper age limit will be as under:-
i) Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates
ii) Upto 03 years in case of OBC candidates
iii) Upto 05 years for Physically Handicapped Persons (10 years for SC/ST and 08 years for OBC candidates) in identified disciplines even if no posts are reserved for them in these areas.
iv) For Ex-serviceman, services rendered in the armed forces plus 3 years

Nationality
Only Indian nationals need apply.

One appearing in the final examination (final semester) may also apply. However, one found eligible for interview, will be allowed to appear for the same if the final results is declared.

DRDO SET Exam Pattern

 DRDO SET exam is of three hours duration consisting of two sections section A and Section B.

 Section ‘A’ is of 100 questions to test the candidate’s knowledge in the subject of their BE / B.Tech (for Engg discipline) or M.Sc (for Science Discipline).

 Section ‘B’ is of 50 questions to test ability in analytical and qualitative skills, current affairs and general awareness to test the aptitude and scientific knowledge required for Applied Research & Development.
