About the Post :
Gazetted officers include all the Indian Police Service officers and all State Police Services officers of and above the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) or Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Metropolitan Police and State Police forces respectively.

the posts of ACP(Assistant Commissioner of Police) is filled by IPS officers. IPS officers get ACP rank through promotion. to become an IPS officer you have to write Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.

NATIONALITY
should be Indian

Educational Qualification
candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized universityFinal year degree students are also eligible Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

PH 21-40 yrs
