The UPSC Central Police Forces CAPF (AC) Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) - Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The UPSC CAPF (AC) 2018 will be conduct on 12 August, 2018.

CAPF (AC) 2018 Important Dates

Date of Notification: 25 April, 2018
Last Date to Apply: 21 May, 2018
Date of Exam: 12 August, 2018

Eligibility Criteria

A degree from a recognised University or equivalent

Age Eligibility:

Minimum 20 years and Maximum 25 years as on 1st August of the exam year

You need to have minimum Physical Standards as given in the notification

Physical Standards Eligibility:

Female candidates can not apply for BSF and ITBP

Exam Pattern

There is negative marking in Objective Type Question Paper.

There are four alternatives for the answer to every question.

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given, 1/3rd (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question are deducted as penalty.

Physical and medical standards test is conducted only for those candidates who qualify the written examination.

Interview for personal test is of 200 marks.
