No , it is not truth that Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is easier than Common Admission test (CAT).

GMAT and CAT Differences:

Validity:

CAT exam’s score is valid for duration of 1 year.

GMAT score is valid for a period of 5 years.

Frequency:
CAT exam is held once in a year in the month of November.

Date of the GMAT exam is decide by candidates. One candidate can take GMAT up to 5 times a year.

Cost:
CAT Registration Fees:
Rs 1600.

GMAT Registration Fees:
Costs $250, approximately Rs 16,000.

Format:
GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test
while
CAT exam is a linear computer based test.
