The Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar is a legal university introduced by the Government of Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. Bar Council of India (BCI) and University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized the university.

The university offers following courses:

Under Graduate Programme:

FIVE YEARS B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.S.W./B.Sc. LL.B (Hons.)

Post Graduate Programme:
Two years LL. M.

LLM in Judicial Services is proposed to be offered from the 2012-13.

Part - Time Programmes (Master and Diploma Courses):
Part - Time LL.M.(Specialization in Criminal Law and Commercial Law)
Diploma in Environmental Law
Diploma in Criminology and Forensic Management

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme
