There was news for IIM faculties to spend more time in research just like they spend time in teaching. The research will be given as much importance as teaching. Research was given more importance now a day.

The faculties were allowed to spend 53 days in a year for advisory and consulting works. The new norms in research will not affect the time allotment for consulting. The faculty members need to do more research and get their work published in journals.
