IISC (Indian Institute of Science) is a leading institution that provides admissions based on the national level entrance exam scores in their Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses

PhD admission

Admission to the Integrated PhD Programmes will be through the Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM), followed by an interview for Physical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences.

The selection for Chemical Sciences and Biological Sciences will be based on JAM Score only.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have Master’s degree or its equivalent in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture/ Humanities.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for admission to research programs is through an interview to be held at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
