The IIST is a deemed university that offers many undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral level programs focus on special areas of space science, technology and applications for the interested students whose desire is to take admission in IIST.

IIST admission is done on the basis of JEE Advance for UG courses and GATE/ UGC NET/JEST for admission to PG courses.

The programmes offered by the IIST include B.Tech, M.Tech/M.S., and PhD.

Application fee for female candidates (GEN/OBC) – Rs. 300/-.
