Can you tell me about the Admission Procedure for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) 2017 offered by IIMA or Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad?

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is the doctoral programme of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. It provides students with necessary skills to identify and research complex issues in the field of management.

Admission Procedure


The admission process consists of the nationally administered Common Admission Test (CAT)/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF (varies for different areas), past academic performance, performance in the interviews.

Faculty will then evaluate the applications that have been submitted, and invite a selected group of candidates for personal interviews with the faculty and members of the FPM Executive Committee, who recommend candidates for admission.

The dead-line for submission of online application is January 23, 2017. Interviews will be held in March/April and admission decisions made by last week of April.

Application form will be available online. Candidate can fill-up the application form online and an application fee of Rs. 500/- can be paid through IIMA gateway.

Admission Requirement


One must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIMA’s Doctoral Programme:

A Masters Degree in any discipline, with minimum 55% marks, with a Bachelors degree/ equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks obtained after a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

(OR)

Five year/four year Integrated Masters Degree programme in any discipline, with minimum 55% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent

(OR)

A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with minimum 55% marks.

(OR)

A 4-year/8-semester Bachelors degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade point average
