The Jadavpur University Second Campus is Salt Lake City Campus is a newer campus

It was established after it was felt that the space on the main campus was insufficient to meet the demands of setting up departments for emerging fields of study.

It is a 28-acre campus in LB block, Salt Lake just off the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass near the Chingrighata crossing.
