Karnataka State Open University is not approved by NCTE (NAtional Council for Teacher Education).

KSOU is recognised by the United Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC).

Diploma in Education Eligibility:

The minimum qualification to apply for it is a pass with 50% in 10+2 with science or arts group
