Karpagam University, Coimbatore has been recognized in the year 1989. Arts and Science College was established in September 1995 with the available corpus, Karpagam. Its only aim was to educate to the students in the latest theories and technologies. The college motto qualitative and quantitative development in the resultant years. The university Started with strength of 47 students the college grew to the strength of 2500 students. In during these 14 years the college had full-grown from the strength to strength.
