KVPY is the National Programme of Fellowship Sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

KVPY 2016 Exam Dates

Admit Card Availability: Second week of October, 2016
Examination Date: 6th November, 2016
Answer Key Released on: second/third week of November
Result of aptitude test for SA, SB and SX: third week of December, 2016
Interview Schedule: in the month of January and February

Application Fee

The application processing fee is Rs. 1055 (Rs. 528 for SC/ST/PwD Category).
Candidates have an option to submit the fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or Challan

KVPY Exam Pattern ;

Date of Exam: The KVPY Exam will be held in the first week of November 2017.

Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be organized in online or offline mode.

Duration: The duration of the exam will be three hours.

Language: The medium of the question paper will be English & Hindi language.

Type of Questions: It is a multiple choice question paper.

Papers: The Question Paper Divided into Two Parts: PART I & PART II.

Marks: The Question Paper will be 100 marks

KVPY Syllabus

The KVPY Syllabus Comprises of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics subjects. No prescribed syllabus for entrance exam. The syllabus will contain the topics of the Class 10th/11th/12th/1st year of B. Sc/B. Stat./BS/B. Math./Int.M.Sc/MS.
