Can you provide me the cut off for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for admission in M Tech Program in ISM or Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad?

The Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad hold the Indian School of Mines Dhanbad Entrance Exam (ISM EE) for the admission for M. Tech aspirants who do not have valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores or have not appeared for GATE exam. One with valid GATE scores is given preference for the seats.


ISM EE cut off for GATE 2016:

• The total seats available for GATE candidates are 403.

• The ISM EE Cut off is determined on the basis of factors like the number of applicants, total seat intake, previous year cut offs etc.

• The ISM EE Cut off is separately determined for each of the ISM EE Papers.

• One who has obtained a score equivalent to or more that the ISM EE cut off will be considered for admissions.


ISM EE cut off 2016:
• The total seats for the ISM EE candidates from the total M. Tech seats are 381.

• The ISM EE Cut off is different for each of the papers and is determined by the department that offers the M. Tech course on the basis of number of applicants who have qualified in the entrance and the number of seats etc.


ISM Dhanbad generally does not announce the ISM EE Cutoff for the M. Tech programmes.

A total number of 26 M. Tech programmes are offered at ISM Dhanbad and the ISM EE is conducted in 19 disciplines for the admissions to these courses.
