Can you tell me about the fee for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2018 for admission in M Tech Program?

Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is a state level entrance exam for offering admission into regular PG courses such as ME, M. Tech, M.Pharmacy, M. Arch and other courses.

The exam is also conducted for admission in Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) programme. It is conducted by the University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

Application Fee:
The registration fee is Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for SC/ST) per test.
For more than one test, one has to pay extra fee.
One makes payment through Credit Card/Debit Card or AP/TS Online Centres.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: For M. Tech, one must have completed the BE/B. Tech/AMIE from any recognized college.
Percentage Criteria: For admission in engineering courses, students must have secured 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved categories.

TS PGECET Exam Pattern
Duration: The exam duration will be two hours.
Type of Questions: Objective type questions will be asked in the exam.
Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in this exam.
Exam Mode: It will be conducted only via online mode, i.e. Computer based test.
Sessions: The examination will be held in two sessions, i.e. in the afternoon and evening session.
Language: The question paper will be asked in English language.
