The Department of Chemistry established in 1964, for imparting UG and PG courses as well as Ph.D. degree in the fields of coordination chemistry, chemical kinetics, synthetic organic chemistry and green chemistry.

M.Sc. Chemistry Eligibility

B.Sc. (3 yrs) Degree after 10+2 with Major/Honours in Chemistry
B.Sc. General/Pass degree with Chemistry as one of the three main subjects with equal weight-age.
At least 50 per cent Marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General candidates and 45 per cent Marks or an equivalent grade for SC/ST candidates
