Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University offers Master of Surgery MS of duration 3 years.

The MS course at KMC is approved by Medical Council of India.

Master of Surgery MS

Duration:

MS- 3 years (The duration of the MS ourse is 2 years for those with a 2 years recognised diploma in the same speciality).

It is offered in the following streams:

General Surgery
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Ophthalmology
Orthopaedics and Oto-Rhino-Laryngology

Eligibility

Pass in MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India.

Internship

Candidates completing their compulsory rotating internship on or before 30.04.2016 are eligible.

Citizenship:

Indian nationals can apply under the General/In-service Category.

Foreign nationals or NRI or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.

Admissions

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.

Entrance Test Type: Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET).

Test Pattern:

Duration - 2.30 hours.

There will be one question paper of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type which carries 200 marks.
