University of Mysore conducts Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lecturer and assistant professorship.

KSET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have master’s degree and secured at least 55% of marks for general category and 50% for Schedule Category (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST),
PWD-VH/PH .

Subjects for master degree must as like:
Science, Humanities (including languages), Social science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic science etc.,

KSET Exam fees:
Category Fee
General Rs. 1000/-
Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB Rs. 800/-
Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD(VH/PH) Rs. 500/-


KSET 2016 Exam Dates
Submission of On-line Application commences from
26th September 2016

Last date for submission of online application
25th October 2016

Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.150/-
05th November 2016

Last date for submission of hard copy of the Application form along with copy of the bank challan, category certificate, PG degree marks card to the respective Nodal center.
10th November 2016
