2023 2024 MBA - NITIE Exam Details

You want to know about MBA Entrance exam at NITIE so for admission in MBA course institute accept CAT score. Following are instructions to apply.

Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks or equivalant in any branch of Engineering / Technology (5% concession in case of SC/ST/PD candidates).

Candidates should have to appear in Common Admission Test (CAT 2012) conducted by the IIMs.

Interested candidates should register separately for each programme

Candidates who are currently in their final year of exam must require

Complete their examination, viva voce etc, by June 2013.

Submit the final year mark-sheet and provisional certificate by September 2013.

Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;
Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning
Verbal ability and reasoning

Verbal ability and reasoning accounts for half of the verbal section.

A typical 50 marks section of verbal comprises Verbal ability and reasoning section and the Reading Comprehension section. Verbal ability accounts for about 25 to 30 marks questions in the verbal section and the remaining 20 to 25 marks questions are Reading comprehension questions.

The questions that typically appear in the verbal section can be classified in one of the following types
Vocabulary Based
English Usage / Grammar
Verbal Reasoning

Reading Comprehension

Reading Comprehension accounts for a third to a half of the verbal section in CAT

A typical 100 marks section of verbal comprises Verbal ability and reasoning section and the Reading Comprehension section. Verbal ability accounts for about 40 to 60 marks questions in the verbal section and the remaining 60 to 40 marks questions are Reading comprehension questions.
