National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW) offers admission in MSC course on the basis of score in Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM).

IIT JAM Eligibility

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree.

Obtained at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC-NCL Category Candidates in qualifying degree course .
(At least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PwD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree).

Question Paper Pattern of IIT JAM:

Duration of the examination :
3 hours.

Medium for test paper:
English only.

Total of 60 questions carrying 100 marks.

Sections:
Section A,
Section B
Section C

Marking scheme:
In all sections questions not attempted will result in zero mark.

Section – A (MCQ), wrong answer will result in negative marks.
For all 1 mark questions, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
For all 2 marks questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Section – B (MSQ), there is no negative and no partial marking provisions.

There is no negative marking in Section – C (NAT).
