NPTE Exam Papers
 
I am doing preparation of the NTPE Physical Therapist (PT) examination and searching for some sample questions. Can you please provide me basic details about Physical Therapist (PT) examination also provide some papers or sample questions so that I can prepare well for exam?

The Physical Therapist (PT) examination is designed to assess basic entry-level competence of the licensure candidate who has graduated from an accredited program of physical therapy or from an equivalent non-accredited program.

The NPTE program has three purposes:

1) to provide examination services to regulatory authorities charged with the regulation of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants;

2) to provide a common element in the evaluation of candidates so that standards will be comparable from jurisdiction to jurisdiction; and

3) to protect the public interest in having only those persons who have the requisite knowledge of physical therapy be licensed to practice physical therapy.

As question paper not available below I am providing you the NPTE syllabus:



Some sample question:

1. During a physical therapy evaluation, a patient with a sprain of the deltoid ligament of the ankle reported pain with palpation of the affected area and with ankle motion that stressed the ligament. To determine any change in the patient’s pain level during subsequent treatment, a physical therapist assistant should palpate which of the following areas?

Eligibility:

You must be at least 18 years of age.
Cannot have an open exam registration for the same exam level.
Cannot have taken the exam more than 3 consecutive times (maximum attempts in any 12-month period per exam level is three)
Cannot have an open security investigation or sanctions that have not been completed.
