As you asking I am telling Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh Department of Radiotherapy started functioning independently in 1971 and has been upgraded into Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) under National Cancer Control Programme by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India in 2005.
