You are looking for the Entrance Exam Date for MCA course of Pune University. As on date 21 March 2013 Exam Date for admission in MCA course of Pune University is passed, so I giving you tentative dates for the next year for your reference.

Important Dates:
Last date of online Application: In the Middle of February month
Last date of submission of printout of Application Form along with DD and necessary documents: In the last of February month
Date of Examination: In the first week of March

Eligibility criteria:
1. For M.C.A. (under Science Faculty)
Candidates should have a Graduation degree in Science with Mathematics at 10+2 Level.
2. For M.Sc. (Computer Science)
Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

Application Fees (Non Refundable):
Unreserved : Rs. 800/-
Reserved (For Maharashtra) : Rs. 500/-

Exam Pattern and syllabus: The Entrance Examination consists of multiple choice objective type questions (100 marks). The exam covers the areas of Mathematics, general aptitude and English language.

Here I am providing Mathematics Syllabus for the exam:
--Polynomials: solution of quadratic equations, properties of roots of polynomials with real coefficients, binomial expansion, Taylor series.
--Co-ordinate Geometry and Conic Sections: Equations of lines and planes, vector products; definitions and properties of conic sections.
--Propositional logic: Formulation, deduction, evaluation, puzzles.
--Trigonometry: Identities, computation of heights and lengths.
--Linear Algebra: Solution of a system of linear equations. Determinant and inverse of a matrix, basic properties of matrices.
--Differential Calculus: Total and partial differentiation, limit of a function.
--Permutations and Combinations.
--Integral Calculus: Definite and indefinite integrals, solution of differential equations, computation of areas and volumes.
--Real and complex numbers: surds, solution of equations on complex domain.
--Elementary Probability Theory: Computing probability from combinatorial reasoning, conditional probability.
--Set theory: Set operations, relations, functions.
--Series and sequences: sum, mean, convergence, limit.
