Hello sir, in which year the Ratnakar bank will become RBL bank after RBI approval?

The Ratnakar Bank Limited was changed to “RBL Bank Limited” in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification DBR.PSBD.No.8931/16.01.072/2014-15 dated December 15, 2014.

And the Ratnakar bank was published in the Gazette of India, Issue No.3 (Part III Section 4) dated January 17- 23 January.

The Board of Directors at its meeting was held on July 22, 2014 unanimously voted to designate Mr. Narayan Ramachandran as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Bank for a period of two years subject to approval of RBI.

Alteration in the name of “The Ratnakar Bank Limited” to “RBL Bank Limited” in the Second Schedule to the RBI Act, 1934
