Please give detailed syllabus of B.SC 4th Semester Program of RCUB University. Recently I have passed 3rd Semester. Now I am in 4th Semester of B.SC Program. So please give me its detailed syllabus. Can I get its books before starting classes from library of RCUB University?

Rani Channamma University, Belagavi is a public university established by the government of Karnataka in 2010 at Belgaum.

The Syllabus of the Subject Morphology and Taxonomy of BSc IV Sem Subject of the Rani Channamma University is given below

Section I
Morphology and Taxonomy

Unit 1: Angiosperms: origin and evolution. 2 hrs.
Unit 2: Morphology of Angiosperms Study of roots, stems, leaves and their modifications. Study of Inflorescence, flower and fruits

Unit 3: Angiosperm taxonomy: Brief history, botanical nomenclature, principles and
rules, taxonomic ranks, type concept and principle of priority.

Unit 4: Classification of Angiosperms : systems proposed by Bentham and Hooker and Engler prantl. Their salient features, merits and demerits. Major contributions of cytology (cytotaxonomy), phytochemistry (chemotaxonomy) and taximetrics (numerical taxonomy) to taxonomy.

Unit 5: Diversity of flowering plants as illustrated by members of the following families: Magnoliaceae ,Annonaceae, Brassicaceae, Malvaceae, Rutaceae, Rhamnaceae, Anacardiaceae, Fabaceae Myrtaceae, Combretaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Apiceae, Rubiaceae, Asteraceae, Sapotaceae, Apocyanaceae Asclepiadaceae, Convolvulaceae, Solanaceae, Acanthaceae, Verbenaceae, Lamiaceae,
Amaranthaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Urticaceae, Orchidaceae, Amaryllidaceae, Liliaceae, Arecaceae and Poaceae.
