Eligibility
1. Uniformly good academic record with Master Degree and Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in
Comparative Indian Language and Literature or Comparative Literature or English or Linguistics or any ancient / or Modern Indian Language and Literature. Ph.D. with Master Degree in allied subject is essential for Professor and Associate Professor.

For the post of Assistant Professor, Candidates must have cleared the national Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET.

2. Applicants must have knowledge of Bengali Language.

1. Professor: Indian Classical Language and Literature ( Sanskrit / Prakrit / Pali)
