SECA2304 ELECTRONIC AND DIGITAL CIRCUITS LAB

SUGGESTED LIST OF EXPERIMENTS

1. Transistor biasing and stabilization.
2. Regulation characteristics of Half Wave Rectifier (HWR) with and without filters.
3. Regulation characteristics of FWR with and without filters.
4. Zener Voltage Regulators.
5. 78xx and /or 79xx IC Voltage Regulators.
6. Frequency response characteristics of RC coupled amplifier (two or more stages).
7. Darlington / Complementary symmetry pair amplifier.
8. Common source FET amplifier.
9. Power control circuit using SCR (Example Fan regulator).
10. Basic Combinatorial Circuits – Gate Verification, Adder and Subtractor using gates/4 bit Adder and Subtractor using IC.
11. Code Converter.
12. Parity Generator and Checker.
13. Encoder and Decoder / Multiplexer and Demultiplexer.
14. Counter Design using Flip-Flops.
15. Shift-Register Design using Flip-Flops.

COURSE OUTCOMES
On completion of the course, student will be able to
CO1 - Construct and test the performance of discrete component based electronic circuits.
CO2 - Construct and test the performance of dc power supply and IC based voltage regulators.
CO3 - Construct and test the frequency response characteristics of amplifiers.
CO4 - Construct and test the performance of IC based Digital electronic circuits.
CO5 - Construct and verify the truth table of Sequential circuits and combinational logic circuits.
CO6 - Simulate the circuit design using PSPICE simulator.
