SMU-DE, the distance education arm of SMU, was set up in 2001, and is a leading provider of professional Distance Learning Programs in India today. The university offers courses such as MBA, MCA, BCA and BBA. All these programs are recognised and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).


The Details of the MBA Program of the University is given below

MBA Program

The course duration of the distance MBA Degree Program from SMU-DE is a minimum of 2 years (4 semesters) and a maximum of 4 years.

Admission Details

Graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University
Qualify the Entrance Test [SMU-DDE Management Aptitude Test* (SMAT)] conducted by Directorate of Distance Education, Sikkim Manipal University. However

, if candidate has cleared Aptitude Test (MAT/CAT/GMAT etc.) conducted by recognized Institutes/Universities, he/she need not appear for SMAT. Such candidates should have scored minimum of 40 percentile or above in aptitude test conducted by other recognized Institutes/Universities. The score card should not be more than one year old at the time of admission at SMU-DDE.
Work experience preferred.
