The State Bank of Travancore presented Pratibha Samman Awards in the national category to film-maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan
NRI category to entrepreneur K. Muraleedharan and State category to Executive Director of Kerala Social Security Mission to T. P Ashraf. Managing Director, SBT,

Jeevandas Narayan, presented the awards.

The award comprises a gold seal and citation. Chief Secretary P.K Mohanthy delivered the keynote address at the award distribution function.

Music composer honoured

Ramesh Narayan, music composer of SBT anthem and recipient of the Kerala State Film award, was honoured on the occasion.
